Coordinators work with donor families, hospital staff and physicians to recover organs and tissues for transplantation. Organ recovery coordinators should possess a nursing background with critical care or emergency room experience. Operating room experience is preferred for tissue recovery coordinators.

The ability to work flexible hours and to be on call is a must for all positions with the exception of administrative. Travel between hospitals is also required.
