LifeShare Carolinas is proud to share our unique program which targets 11th and 12th grade classes with a health science focus. We give students an in-depth education on donation during this rare hands-on experience.

Choose One of Our Three Options

FIELD TRIP

  • Comprehensive education featuring behind-the-scenes lessons from organ, eye, and tissue donation experts
  • Organ anatomy lesson in our operating room
  • Timing: 5 hours with catered lunch, 4 hours without lunch
  • Limited to 40 students

CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

  • In-class presentation about organ, eye, and tissue donation
  • Organ anatomy lesson in your classroom
  • Timing: 75 minutes needed for the full presentation and anatomy lesson (we can accommodate multiple class periods per day)

SHORT FIELD TRIP

  • Classroom style education about organ, eye, and tissue donation in our facility
  • Organ anatomy lesson in our operating room
  • Timing: 2 hours
  • Limited to 30 students
