National Donor Sabbath

National Donor Sabbath is observed every year two weekends before Thanksgiving, Friday-Sunday. Those are the usual days of worship for all major religions practiced in the United States. In 2020, the dates are November 13-15.

During National Donor Sabbath, faith leaders, donor families, transplant recipients, and donation and transplantation professionals are encouraged to participate in services and programs centered around organ, eye, and tissue donation.
